It was a busy weekend of racing for the club as the road season takes off, it started on Friday night at the Battersea 5k with Jacob Parkinson coming 23rd in the elite race running 15.02.
Trish Jackman ran at the podium 5k in Leicester on Saturday in the elite race coming 16th running 16.30, a solid run in windy conditions.
In the men’s Lewis Jagger was 25th in 14.05 and Joe Wilkinson 54th in 14.38.
Lewis Jagger ran the Derby 10k Sunday morning in 28.55 coming 2nd.
Ed Buck came 6th in the Bath half marathon running 1.04.04. A competitive race as it hosted the official trials for the world half marathon championships so a great finishing position for the Newark AC athlete.
