What a way to kick off the 2026/27 Sportshall season!
A fantastic 15 Newark AC athletes made the trip to Kirkby-in-Ashfield to represent the club in the first Notts Mini League Sportshall competition of the season.
A special mention to the four athletes competing at a Sportshall event for the very first time. There were a few nerves to begin with, but it was brilliant to see those nerves turn into confidence and determination as the day went on. Well done!
A huge thank you also to the parents who helped out throughout the day. These events simply couldn’t run smoothly without your support.
And we can’t finish without mentioning Robin’s MASSIVE raffle win!
NEXT EVENT – Sunday 1 November

Let’s spread the word and see if we can get another brilliant Newark turnout! All club members aged 9–15 are eligible to compete, so get the date in your diaries.
