7th place at British Masters XC Relay Championships

The Newark AC Men’s Masters team secured a strong 7th-place finish at the British Masters Athletic Federation Cross Country Relay Championships in Oxford on Saturday.

Competing in the competitive M35 category—stepping down a division to accommodate the squad’s younger members—the team clocked a fantastic overall time of 57 minutes and 25 seconds in wet and windy conditions.

The five-man squad ran strongly throughout on an excellent course, competing in the following order: Robert Lindsay, Harry Edwards, Jason Ludlam, Joaquim Jeronimo, and Leigh Marshall.

Their impressive performance earned them a hard-fought top-10 national finish
