Newark Athletic Club - Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire
Newark Athletic Club is a sports club located in the Nottinghamshire market town of Newark on Trent. We compete in various athletic disciplines including cross country, track & field (indoor & outdoor), road running and sports hall athletics. We are affiliated to The Midland Counties Athletic Association, UK Athletics, The Midland Men’s & Women’s Cross Country & Road Running Association and the Nottinghamshire Amateur Athletic Association.
We are a small, friendly club and we are always on the lookout for new members, so if you want to give athletics a try, no matter at what level please do get in touch.

Events organised by Newark Athletic Club
The Newark Half Marathon
One of the top road races in the East Midlands which regularly attracts in excess of 1,000 entrants. Held in early August.
Gordon Whelbourn Week
A series of 5 road and cross country races in 5 days held in and around Newark. Held in early June.
Dave Lewis Challenge
A run/orienteering event organised in memory of Dave Lewis, a Newark AC coach and athlete. Held in October - 2010 entry form
