A first place followed by a trio of third places at the penultimate Notts Mini league Cross Country race helped Newark AC- Junior section finish second on the day at a bright but cold Rushcliffe Country Park.  The whole team put in some fantastic runs with Olivia Mathias, Charlotte Peach, Bethany Scotney and Linton Taylor being the named victors of the day. It is also worth mentioning that a handful of Newark athletes had competed the day before at the North Midlands Cross Country, so these performances were a real credit considering it was back to back!
