Lincolnshire Schools Cross Country

Meanwhile at the Lincolnshire schools championships, where Newark AC was represented by ten athletes, the course had fared much worse and conditions were extremely wet and muddy. Oli Carrington battled it out at the front in the year 10 and 11 boys, but the eventual winner proved too strong and he had to settle for second. Linton Taylor was not too far behind in fourth and was closing Oli down at one point. Those athletes finishing in the top twenty qualified for the Lincolnshire team at the Anglian schools championships.
